Speak with Candour

Candour is described as communicating with frank and open honesty. We really like that. It's annoying being stuck in an environment where you can't be honest or frank because of political reasons. That's why Candour is so important to us. It's actually just that we're bad liars - makes us feel bad!

Fairness, impartiality, sincerity, and being open and transparent. That's what we want to hear more of.

And Candour has some really good roots: it comes from the French word candeur, Latin candor / candere - meaning brightness, and unreservedness. We think we have good roots too. Both Kerry and I have a background in multi-media. Video, web, graphic design, painting, audio, live performance, jewellery design, and photography, we've been there. All of these disciplines have a common base of creativity and passion. It's certainly what keeps us happy, so we want to share our ideas with you lot. We hope it helps you. :D

Why Candour?

We've started this blog to share our experiences in web design, usability and other stuff we like. It's sometimes difficult to work out what to do when you're a designer working by yourself, so we hope we can help you out a bit.
